About Our Grief Support Groups

Hospice of Michigan's support groups provide a safe and supportive environment for particiatnts to express their feelings and better understand the grief process. These services are offered at no charge to any member of our community mourning the loss of a loved one.

These are on-going groups where grief and loss topics are addressed as they arise, depending upon the interests of those attending the group. The focus of these groups is to express feelings and experiences related to the loss in a supportive, caring and non-judmental environment.

This memorial service will feature music, readings, and an opportunity for silent contemplation in a warm and caring environment.

This program is a series of weekly sessions offing insights and coping skills for an adult's journey through grief. Practical handouts are provided with each session. Advance registration is required.


CAMP GOOD GRIEF

Camp Good Grief is a day camp for children ages 8-17. The experience combines fun and adventurous activities with grief education and emotional support, all facilitated by Hospice of Michigan grief professionals and trained volunteers.


Unless otherwise noted, advance registration is required for all groups. To register, call: Tangela Zielinski at 231.796.7371.


Groups will be cancelled due to inclement weather when public schools and their activities are closed/cancelled with the area when the group is held and when there is a severe weather warning.
